I am aspiring journalist with a passion for storytelling and an interest in people, currently in my senior year at the University of Minnesota, where I study Journalism, Political Science and French.

I have covered arts and entertainment in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area for the Minnesota Daily since June 2024. Previously, I interned at the Senegalese daily newspaper WalfQuotidien, covering breaking news and international affairs.

I was an intern for Senator Amy Klobuchar my sophomore year, assisting the senator’s constituents with their visa and passport problems, and reviewing the senator’s appearances in the press. I also worked for the Wisconsin Senate Sergeant at Arms before college as a senate page.

I immigrated to the United States from Brazil when I was young, and grew up in Madison, Wisconsin. I speak English, Portuguese, Spanish and French. In my free time I enjoy trying new foods, exploring the city and watching action movies.
